He worked privately for 7 years with Hitachi and JDS Uniphase. Professor Moss has published over 450 research papers and holds 5 patents. A recent paper published in Science magazine, detailed entanglement of four photons on a computer chip – a world first, opening the door to the next generation of quantum computing.

Dr Jonian Nikolov

Chief Technical Officer

PhD (Physics), PhD (Mechatronics), MEngSc (Metallurgy), MIA, METS, MCA, MASME (USA)

Dr Nikolov (aka Dr Nano - to his colleagues) is an experienced scientist and technology innovator, and recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Fellowship, JSPS Post Doctoral Fellowship (Japan), NEIS Fellowship, and CSIRO CEO Award. He has 40 years of experience in the production, investigation and application of amorphous and nanostructured materials for cutting-edge applications, including 20 years as Senior Scientist at CSIRO Laboratories in Victoria and 7 years as Chief Technical Officer at EDEN. Dr Nikolov has authored more than 60 scientific publications, and holds 10 technology patents and several Honorary University Professorships, His exemplary academic qualifications include a  Masters Degree in Engineering Science, and Doctorates in Mechatronics and Physics. His recent focus has been nanotechnology and its application across numerous fields, including next generation solar energy innovations such as high-efficiency thin-film solar-cells, and advanced battery storage based on supercapacitor and other advanced nano-battery technologies. He developed the high efficiency scalable PAN-FSP nano-fabrication technology for production of high-quality low-cost programmable nanostructured compounds and nano-coatings onto mobile support particles, and was instrumental in bringing that technology into EDEN. He also developed and is continuing to innovate the intricate design methodologies needed to implement the vast array of the NanoTech products that comprise EDEN's Advanced NanoTech Portfolio. Dr Nikolov's extensive research, hands-on technical skills, and unique insights into nanoscience, nanomaterial production engineering, and specifically his versatile cost-efficient scalable PAN-FSP nano-fabrication invention, are highly valued assets that EDEN will beneficially apply in diversifying its Advanced NanoTech Program across many industry sectors globally, in the years ahead.
